Museum Shop
Always full of interesting items, the Museum Shop stocks fine quality souvenirs, postcards, painted canalware, and a wonderful selection of waterway gifts, guides and publications. In particular it offers the most comprehensive range of canal books in the country.
Boat Trips
You can cruise along the Grand Union Canal in splendid tranquility on one of the trip boats operating at Stoke Bruerne.
Walks
Stoke Bruerne offers two pleasant canalside walks. The short route to the Blisworth Tunnel is tarmac, and suitable for buggies and wheelchairs. Alternatively, follow the well kept towpath down the flight of seven locks, and absorb the purposeful atmosphere of boats and locks in action. There are also 2 restaurents, 2 tea rooms, and a pub in the village.
For further information on the pleasures of canal and waterways cruising, it is recommended that you take a look at the Canal Boating in the U.K. and Europe web site, which contains a host of links covering every aspect of cruising on inland waterways.

The Canal Museum is south of Northampton, 10 minutes from both the M1 (junction 15), and the A5.
