The Minutes of the Meetings on 9th June and 2nd July were accepted as a true record and duly signed.

Matters Arising;-

It was decided to ask for the Village road report for the next meeting and to discuss the practicality of clearing the pond in Church Gap.

Report from Borough Councillor:-

No planning application has yet been received for a Waste Disposal Site at Brookfield Plantation. It is understood that this would include incineration, bio-digestion and heat recovery.

Corby BC are aiming to appoint a Woodlands Manager in the near future.

Finance:-

The Accounts of the Parish Council for 2007/8 were received and accepted before being forwarded for formal external auditing.

Any Other Business:-

A blocked drain outside the Bluebell Inn was reported.

There is a problem with litter around the children's play area

Parking on pavements is again a problem particularly at busy times

Seats on the Village Green and Harringworth Road require attention

Weight Restriction signs are desirable. Northants CC to be consulted.

Overgrown hedges on Arnhill Road are causing an obstruction.

The telegraph pole at the Village Hall is to be moved to facilitate extension work

Cricket Club have requested a skip for scrap items. Mark Thompson to liaise.

Vegetation growth is appearing through fences at the rear of Finch Hatton Drive.

The drains at the Sports Club require attention.
