Present:- Tim Fox - chair, Ailsa Dempster, Paul Seaton, Phil Bromhall (BC), Vic. Clark, Stan Heggs ( CC ), Andy Royle, Barrie Wooney, John Hindle ( clerk).

The meeting was addressed by Phil. Beckett, Community Police Officer. He reported that burglaries and auto crime were their main focus. Village patrols are being increased and leaflets distributed. The situation regarding Quad bikes on the playing field is under observation. He reported that bikes are confiscated and crushed on second offence.
Daniel Doody ( Public) sought support for a 10K run ( sponsored) around the village. Stan Heggs commented that extra funds might be available from Corby BC.
Report from County Councillor:
Cash up to £10,000 could be available to each councillor on CC for local needs.
The result of a street canvassing poll re Police reorganisation was a desire for forces to remain local.
Report from Borough Councillor:
Corby BC has been informed of an approach to Northants CC relating to the resiting of Gretton School if the Southfield Road development proposal was approved. Gretton School is in an 'excellence cluster'. Pupils had attended a 'bonfire activity' in Fineshade Woods.
Phil also brought the situation in Church Gap to Councillors' attention. Clerk to discuss with Phil Oram as to what provisions are in place for regular clearing etc.

E. Northants re drainage of SED site at Rockingham Speedway. They promise to keep PC informed of relevant planning regulations.
Corby BC re Hatton Lane/Station Rd. site for discussion on 27 June at Development Control Committee.
Stuart Smith Reynolds on Southfield Rd. plans offering to resite Primary School and Village Hall on the proposed development site. Councillors felt that no provision for funding was implicit in the correspondence and the difficulties of managing sites mixing professional and voluntary remits should not be taken lightly.
Local resident complaining of overgrown footpaths between Kirby Road and Fulwell Avenue. Council felt that Corby BC do not programme work at correct time of year. Clerk to diarise in mid-May each year.
E. Northants DC re licences for Rockingham Speedway. It appears that they have been granted all enhancements applied for.
Gretton Baptist church receipt for £350 with thanks. Gretton Village Hall receipt for £800 with thanks
Jeff. Ward enclosing copies of exchange of correspondence with Corby BC Environmental Services regarding a wedding celebration at Hatton Arms on 10 June.

Planning:
Land at Clay Lane/Station Rd. is being offered for development. Council hoped it would be progressed in accord with the environment of that area of the village.
Land on Fullwell Ave./Kirby Rd. would benefit from an 'affordable housing' development.
